HI all! Do you treasure hunt?

I hope everyone is having a great week! Just wondering how many treasure hunters are out there! By that I mean, do you go to yard sales, flea markets, antique shops, and resale shops, in search of the ultimate treasure? Well, I am the biggest treasure you will every find. I LOVE love love, to look for things, and find things that are worth money. Because I love money? NO! LOL, I just get a thrill out of learning about new things, especially antiques and collectibles, and then going to a sale and finding a piece of gold for a dollar thats worth 200. I have had many many home runs, (a home run is something you buy for a dollar, and get at least 100!) but havent really found much lately. But I thought I would share with you something I just recently found. As you may know, if you ever look in my Etsy shop, I LOVE jewelry.
Not any particular brand or line, I like it all! Well, a couple of weeks ago, I went to a little resale shop in Nacogdoches Texas. I bought 30 dollars worth of jewelry that day, and came home with a pretty big bagful. One of the things in the bag, was this sorta cute, sorta ugly, sorta gaudy fertility looking God plastic and rhinestone pin. I thought it was neat as it had tons of rhinestones, and was just DIFFERENT. Original price 2.00, on sale half price LOL. Cant beat a dollar right??



So, I go through my new jewels and list my newly acquired vintage pieces on Etsy, and even sell a few right away. My cute little pin sits to the side, just beggin for me to say "HEY why dont I look you up today?"



Today was the day! My little pin man was happy, as I searched for the marking that was on the back of the pin.

So I always choose ebay as my first search option. Looked on there, and was pretty astounded, couldnt find MY little man, but some sorta gaudy and such.

This is an example of a Hattie pin!
To make a long story short, she was a famous designer, and designed jewelry from the late 20s to the 1970s. Most of items are all worth money. But the pins and bracelets that are figural with the lucite plastics on them and clearly signed are worth a bunch!

Ok, now that you have seen what Hattie looks like, let me finish my story! So my sorta cute little man has now been researched, and the total of his value is 600-800 dollars!
So he is now listed to go to a new home through a popular venue called RUBY LANE.
