Did you know, I have never been to Chicago? Yet I LOVE Chicago style dogs? I have, however, lived in Colorado, and there was an Orange Julius there that served the BEST orange smoothies and Chicago style hot dogs. I made myself one today. I know you are going to look at it and think EWWW, but do NOT knock something until you've tried it!
Mine has the following ingredients:
hotdog bun
turkey breast (I ran out of Ballpark franks, and its too cold to go buy some more!)
mustard
ketchup
pickle relish (sweet)
purple onion
cucumber
tomato
pepperochini's
That might be MORE than what they put on theirs, its just what I remember. We had them the other night and they were SO good!
I especially love them because they put the buns in this steamer thing, and they come out so soft and fluffy! Here's a little tip from me to you, that works exactly the same! Wet a papertowl and wring out excess water. Lay wet towel over the top of your bun and microwave it for about 12 seconds. WAAlaa!!
OH and to top off my healthy lunch, I am having a COKE float! (to counteract all that healthy goodness!)

DO I have too much time on my hands? Probably. Do you enjoy seeing and reading? I hope so :o)

Are you a Twilight fan?

Twilight is HUGE right now, here where we live, I bet where you live to! At first I wasnt too thrilled that my kids were all googoogaagaa over it, since the basis is Vampires. But, I am one to not knock something till I've tried it. SO I decided to read book number one. Well I decided to start reading it about 11 pm one night after work.
4:30 AM comes around and I have just finished reading it! But I LOVED it. I am not even sure why, it was just really really good fiction I guess :o)
I've been a Twilight fan ever since! Anyways, I have made several scrapbooks that I have sold on Etsy that are Twilight inspired.
I just finished this today, what do you think?
It was made with scrabble tiles, and vintage glass beads, which I LOVE! Turned out quite I think. Now Im off to list it :o) What did YOU Make today?

that way you can make something wonderful to list on Etsy! Have you ever watched the kids movie ROBOTS? Every time I am going to make something I think about a quote from that movie. The main goal for a crafter selling on Etsy, is to make something that is a huge hit that everyone loves and flys off the shelf, or net lol. The quote I always always always have in my head every day is "Find a need, fill a need". It is so true! You can make something wonderful every day of the week, but if there are a million more just like yours, its not going to sell well! So I am constantly thinking. WHAT do I need in my everyday life that I havent been able to find right now? WHAT could I adapt or add to that would make something unique and useful? WHAT would be a wonderful thing to make that would make decorators go OOHHHAHHHHH??? Well, unfortunately, WHAT is the million dollar question!! BUT, you certainly arent going to be able to find that magical item by just sitting there!
Get off your bum and make something today! Dont procrastinate and WAIT until you have an idea. Go with the first thing that pops into your head. By the time you are done, you might have made something completely different than your original first thought, but the point is, you got your creative juices flowing :o)
